I am the Technology Instructional Mentor (TIM) for A. B. Strawn, Bluebonnet, and Plum Creek Elementary Schools. I am responsible for helping teachers implement and use technology in the classroom. I started my teaching career at Bastrop High School where I taught business and computer classes. While in Bastrop, I also taught Austin Community College (ACC) and the Texas Workforce Commission computer classes. In 2000, I started at Plum Creek Elementary as one of the first TIMs in Lockhart ISD. I have enjoyed working with teachers and students from pre-k to the post-secondary level.
I am a huge Lockhart Lion Fan and a graduate of Lockhart High School. My son plays football and golf at the high school and my daughter plays volleyball and tennis for the Lions. Besides watching the Lions play, I like to camp on the river and work in my yard.
Since I cover more than one campus, the best way to reach me is via email. LISD staff may also contact me through Google Hangouts or the Technology Help Desk.
